Equipments used

HD Sony Handy Cam.
This was the main camera we shot our entire opening sequence with. The camera had a fairly good quality and gave us no problems during filming apart from the fact that the battery runs out quickly. The camera was very easy to hold and very lightweight thus making it easier to carry and keep stable for a long period of time. I quickly got used to the Camera due to the simplicity of the software and layout. With this Recording camera I was able to do quick basic editing without transferring the footage onto a PC, which was very useful.

Tripod

The tripod that came with the camera was also very lightweight and easy to use. All the components fitted together nicely which meant. I learnt how to use the tripod to move the camera up and down smoothly, which meant that the footage appeared steadier.

Final cut pro.
This was the main editing software used to edit the footage. The software came with many features which was very useful to us. It come with a good number of effects, transitions and option buttons. However it wasn't always easy to use because some of the buttons and settings were hidden thus making it more difficult for me to find. Leading to me wasting more time on simple tasks.

Iphones .
My team and I used and iphone to record the creaking door sound effect. The iphone has a high quality voice recorder.

H1 Zoom Handy Recorder

This equipment was very useful to the team. We used it to record a voice over of the main character in the last scene of the opening sequence. The sound quality was very high and clear.

Ipad

The ipad is a very useful device which helped me take quick pictures during the making of the opening sequence. I also used it to record some sounds and edit some pictures for the making of the opening sequence.
